My name is Fayaaz, a 27-year-old non-binary queer muslim person of color. I work as a researcher on the theme Sexuality and I am chair of the Colored Qollective (a safe(r) space for queer people of color) and a candidate for the city council for Utrecht Bij1. On a daily basis I work from my experience/expertise, but also from my privileges, for equality in an ever more divided society. In doing so I want to give a voice to the least privileged groups, especially non-binary trans people who are often unheard and underrepresented.
